Introduction course on export credit insurance 19 November 2026 | Atradius DSB – HQ, Amsterdam

Introduction course: export credit insurance

On Thursday 19 November 2026, Atradius Dutch State Business is organising an introductory course on medium-term export credit insurance in Dutch. During this course, participants will gain an insight into how export credit insurance can contribute to the realisation of international transactions and the various steps involved within Atradius DSB.

The course is intended for staff at existing and new exporting clients who, in their roles, deal with export credit insurance, for example in the fields of export finance, contracting, risk management, finance or international business development. The course also provides staff who are relatively new to this field with a solid foundation for a better understanding of the instrument and its practical application.

From application to cover

An application for export credit insurance is assessed from various perspectives. The assessment considers not only the export transaction itself, but also factors such as the payment structure, the parties involved, the debtor risk, the country in which the transaction takes place and the conditions under which cover can be provided.

During this course, participants will gain insight into how export credit insurance supports international transactions and learn about the various assessment and decision-making processes within Atradius DSB.

Who is this course aimed at?

The introduction course is particularly relevant for staff who are professionally involved in international transactions and who, as a result, deal directly or indirectly with export credit insurance.

No prior specialist knowledge is required. The course is specifically designed to provide participants with a solid foundation for understanding the key concepts, processes and considerations within medium-term export credit insurance.
